Use

In the soundtracks

Mark Mancina and Phil Collins composed the score of the 2003 film Brother Bear as well as its soundtrack and unofficial complete score. "Bear Fight" was written to represent the scene in which Kenai fights and kills the bear that killed his brother, Sitka.[1]

Parts of "Bear Fight" were used in the score "Wilderness of Danger and Beauty", which was released as part of the film's soundtrack.[2][3]

In the film

Kenai faces down the bear that killed his brother Sitka, during which "Bear Fight" is heard

"Bear Fight" is heard in Brother Bear as a representation of the scene in which Kenai fights and kills the bear that killed his brother, Sitka. The score picks up after the bear flees from Kenai, who has tracked it to a patch of berry bushes. The piece continues as Kenai pursues the bear up a mountain, with his brother Denahi following his and the bear's tracks. The score swells as Kenai fights the bear and ends abruptly after he fatally stabs it in the chest.
