The elderly bear is a female bear.

Biography

Brother Bear

The elderly bear visits the Salmon Run. One night, during story hour, she confesses to the other bears that her husband Edgar had died earlier that year. From afar, Edgar yells at her to stop telling others that he is dead. Instead of heeding this, the elderly bear insists that she can still hear Edgar's voice sometimes.

After her story, the elderly bear encourages Kenai to tell a story to the group.

Physical appearance

The elderly bear is a considerably old and decrepit bear. Her age is apparent by the spots on her muzzle, the wrinkles in her face, and the scraggly appearance of her pelt. She has grayish-brown fur with a cream muzzle, white eyebrows, pink eyelids, and slightly darker fur around her eyes, which are black.

Personality and traits

The elderly bear is extremely confused and forgetful, believing her husband Edgar to be dead despite his insistence that he is still alive. However, she is kind-hearted and welcoming to Kenai, a visitor to the Salmon Run.

Trivia

  • The elderly bear is voiced by Estelle Harris.[1]
