Kenai's confession is an event in which Kenai decided to come clean by telling Koda the truth about his mom by being killed-off-for real since After Kenai realizes that the bear he had killed was Koda's mother. Wracked with guilt, Kenai flees the Salmon Run and keeps away from the other bears.

Background
During storytime among the bears, Koda tells a story about his mother fighting human hunters on a glacier trying to protect her cub, making Kenai realise that he didn't just kill a bear, he killed...Koda's Mother.
Confession
Guilty and horrified, Kenai runs away, but Koda soon finds him. Kenai reveals the truth to Koda, who runs away heartbroken, because he is an orphan now. Unable to apologize to Koda because he can't find the cub, Kenai leaves to climb the mountain himself.
