"Kenai Tracks the Bear" is a score composed by Mark Mancina and Phil Collins for Brother Bear. It was unofficially released in 2003 as part of the film's complete score.

Use

In the soundtracks

Mark Mancina and Phil Collins composed the score of the 2003 film Brother Bear as well as its soundtrack and unofficial complete score. "Kenai Tracks The Bear" was written to represent the scene in which Kenai tracks down the bear that killed his brother, Sitka.[1]

In the film

Kenai follows the trail of the bear that killed his brother Sitka, during which "Kenai Tracks The Bear" is heard

"Kenai Tracks The Bear" is heard in Brother Bear as a representation of the scene in which Kenai tracks down the bear that killed his brother, Sitka. The score starts shortly after Kenai's argument with his brother, Denahi. It plays over Kenai's hunt for the bear, during which he follows its pawprints and signs of its passing. The score becomes more tense when Kenai encounters the bear and steels himself to leap past it for his spear. The piece ends just as Kenai retrieves his spear, and the bear flees in the opposite direction.
